Colors Community Resources is dedicated to serving the Northeastern Ohio community through a range of impactful programs. From combating hunger and providing housing solutions to empowering youth and promoting education, our organization is committed to making a lasting difference. HUNGER RELIEF (OVER 45,000 PEOPLE SERVED SINCE 2009)
Provide home cooked meals, raw food goods including meat, produce, starches, as well as toiletries, diapers, baby wipes, clothing, coats, and hair hygiene services for homeless youth, adults, free healthcare facilities and 10 homeless shelters; Raised over $10k annually in donations and corporate sponsorships to implement and sustain this event to youth. Provided a family brunch where parents and children interacted through games from the parent’s era. Host an annual African-American food education program displaying the written and tasteful history of Soulfood from the 1600’s to date.
